Grab wouldn’t be where it is today without its Grabbers. They are the heart and soul of Grab, and what makes Grab so unique. It is no surprise, then, that we want to ensure only the best goes into our Employee Well-being Programme. After all, happy Grabbers can become the best versions of themselves at work, so here’s our go-to guide on how to care for your Grabber.
Step 1: Start Fresh
Our Grabbers start off their first day of work with our Onboarding Experience. We’ve prepped and primed the experience to ensure that each Grabber gets fully acquainted with our work practices, are armed with the right tools to get started, and are most importantly, settled into their new home-away-from-home. This leaves our Grabbers with more time to focus on more important things, like getting to understand their work and team cultures.
Step 2: Let It Germinate
According to a recent study by the University of Warwick, it was found that happier employees contribute to an increased 12% in productivity at work. So here at Grab, we’ve done our best to create a space that’ll benefit our Grabbers the most, both professionally and psychologically. Vast open spaces, lots of natural light, fully-stocked pantries with snacks and drinks, and a flexible working environment? You name it, we’ve probably got it. Not to mention, we encourage you to dress comfortably and wear whatever lets you work at your best. We believe that a satisfied Grabber = a happy Grabber.
Step 3: Tender Loving Care
Out of the office? The benefits don’t stop there. With our GrabFlex Benefits Programme, each Grabber is given the choice to customise a benefits package that caters to their own unique needs. Step 5: Grow and Harvest
At Grab, we’re pretty used – addicted even – to the idea of growth. We want not just our company to grow, but also our Grabbers. Which is why we’ve introduced a suite of Learning and Development Programmes for our Grabbers. Level up your current skill set, or even pick up a completely new one through our various courses. Want to attend a seminar, conference or external workshop? Simply work with your people manager and friendly People Operations partner. Be it for the work we do, or even just for ourselves, we never want to stop learning. The more we learn and grow, the more we can excel in serving our people, and hence our customers and other stakeholders.
We believe that there is so much more to each Grabber aside from their technical skills and contributions. Everyone is a unique individual who should be given the opportunity to learn, grow and do better for themselves, as well as the community and workplace they have come to share. Boiled down to its core, our philosophy on Grabber well-being is simple: outserve our own Grabbers, and they’ll outserve our Grab users.
